Britney Spears teases “Good Morning America” appearance

The pop singer announced this morning that she’ll appear on “Good Morning America” on March 29 to commemorate her latest album, “Femme Fatale.” Spears revealed the news via a YouTube video message to her fans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr3iZQRoSok “Good morning, America,” Spears said. “I’m excited to tell you on Tuesday morning, March 29, I’ll be performing for the first time ever in a special concert in San Francisco’s historic Castro district on ‘Good Morning America.’ And I promise you it’ll be a morning to remember. See you soon!” MTV notes that the singer has been under radio silence, even as the first single from her upcoming album, “Hold It Against Me,” has made the rounds. “I’m doing a lot of promo,” the singer said during a Twitter chat. “I’m thinking about the tour right now, and I would [love] to visit a lot of places I didn’t get to go to on my last tour.” Did anyone think this would be possible a few years back? I certainly didn’t. But Spears seems to have put her professional life back on track, and America LOVES a comeback story … particularly one they can dance to.
